Jen’s Classic Buttermilk Biscuits

Ingredients
- 3 c. self-rising flour
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1-1 1/2 c. buttermilk
Steps

Cut butter in small pieces to blend

Cut in butter with flour

Make a well in the middle of the butter / flour mixture and add buttermilk

Stir in figure eights with a butter knife. Don’t over-knead
5
Roll out medium thick (1-1 1/2′) and cut out biscuits
6
Place on a non-greased pan
7
Bake at 415* for 9-14 minutes
